Erasing the Past
Here's another blatant example of the media changing their story or in this case completely removing it.

Time Magazine's Changing Story
I've long suspected that news stories on the web get corrected and even sometimes changed, so when I saw an article this morning about Wendi Deng and Rupert Murdoch this morning I did a little fact finding myself to see what was real in this story and what wasn't real.
Bascially Wendi Deng is now on twitter.com or apparently not. Well if I read the original story and walked away she would have been real person with a real account. But if I read the story 20 minutes later.. well she's an imposter! Good thing I went back to check my facts. Otherwise I would have have been misinformed. I wonder how often this happens, with no apologies, no heads up, no disclaimers.
Watch the story change ..

I guess We didn't fight hard enough for net neutrality. I was sure when Obama spoke on the subject that we would be safe from this. I don't agree with throttling a car either though..
AT&T Begins Sending Throttling Warnings to Top Data Hogs
Ahhhhhhhh.. Technology you foiled me once again. You best beware that google's android blogger will erase and hours worth of writing upon an incoming call. Read this and wonder how to poor can keep up, remain apart of the global community and how big business is out for money
it's frustrating sometimes but anything worth doing is worth doing.

So uhh like it's been awhile since I've taken the time to get some thoughts out. I've been screwing around with twitter and under the guise of my handle I've entered another social network. I've been torn between my privacy, my work and my curiosity.
Over the last year I've watch how these network are merging together. Now some may have called it a paranoia early on but it was when I was confronted with a situation where I could not fully participate in the online "experience" without giving information from one dot com to another.
First Microsoft's browsers ask to remember my userid and passwords. I'm locked down pretty good as far as logging off my account here at home and I have a userid and password. Which works when I log off. So beyond that I begin to see sites asking for you email address as your log on id. This I suppose can be handy for the average user but in reality it open the door for users (you) to input the wrong password for the same userid because you now have a userid for 3 or 4 other sites. Finally we now have sites that will accept your userid's and passwords from other sites to help sell the machine.
In some regards I see the Internet we inject our thoughts into as the new religion. Well actually it already exists, but none the less it definitely growing faster than another other "book of knowledge" the world has ever seen. For a Religious person this can be scary but even as a citezen of the world we need to pay heed to who is trying to control the informational we feed into it.
So as I try to maintain my userids and passwords, my handles and my email addresses I find my different worlds coming together and if I want to continue to experience what is this new world new mess around I realize if I want to fully participate in the experience I must submit to it as much as it concerns me.
So for those of you who know me from the TRW and this world I say welcome. I hope you don't find the topics I follow here too boring but I can no longer hid this side of me. I am who I am. Now. With that said I'd like to continue on another note.
Here's the new news of the weird.
